Museumsdorf
The Museum Village in the north east of Hamburg recreates village life between the 1850s and 1950s. A lively community of volunteers shows visitors how farmers lived, worked and celebrated more that a century ago. However, some of the eleven historic buildings are much older: they date back to the 17th century. Some were restored, others were brought here and rebuilt brick by brick.
